In response to popular demand for the Wingers line of digital X-ray positioning products, Steri-shield's horizontal bitewing has been improved to provide several useful new features. The new longer bitewing tab (+1.5cm) contains a small insertion slot to allow attachment of an integrated (single piece) x-ray, aimer ring and bar. The new x-ray guide bar easily slides into the tab of the disposable bitewing and can be sterilized for re-use. The longer tab also allows for positive cheek retraction. This super patient comfortable, new product now allows clinicians to capture excellent images either using the bi-secting angle technique or as an aimed shot.
